Taking inspiration from Blake's work, I'm trying to change the style of my designs somewhat. After taking a closer look at Blake's style, I attempted to redraw my characters using common features in his work.
As well as more rounded features and large eyes, Blake tends to draw people with wide, flat noses, with the bridge starting from the eyebrows. The brows are usually thin and curved, with no sharp arch.
So, taking inspiration from Blake, I tried to soften the faces of my characters, but kept aspects that I feel are important; the Rose Tree's sharp brows, the Sun-flower's weary eyes, and the Lilly's youthful look.
