For Jack, I looked over descriptions people gave when reporting sightings, as well as old artwork depicting the entity. Often he is described as having the look of a man, but with sharp claws and pointed ears. In one description he's described as wearing skintight white oilskin, while many others mention black boots and a hooded cloak. I began to picture Jack as a demon-like entity, with kangaroo legs (for jumping) and white and black skin. He wears a cloak to obscure his true appearance, so people will assume he is a man before he begins to reveal his true form.
